First off, Happy New Year! We’re back in the swing of things and doing our first giveaway of the year.
Congrats to Martha S., blog commenter-extraordinaire who won last month’s giveaway of a round washi necklace. Martha chose this lovely modern jewelry piece.
This month, we’re giving away something of your favourite colour!
To enter, comment below with your answer to:
· What is your favourite colour and why? and
· Get a bonus entry if you show us the outfit that you’d like to wear your with your new jewelry piece if you win. (You can do this by linking to your Flickr account or other photo hosting site, your blog, a photo in your Facebook photo album, or you can even create an outfit with Polyvore and link to it).
· One entry per person — if you are linking to an outfit photo, please include the link in your comment.
We’ll randomly choose from all the entries, and pick one winner on Monday, February 1st at noon (EST). The winner will pick one jewelry piece from a selection of three jewelry pieces of our choosing. (The three jewelry pieces will be in the winner’s favourite colour and/or complement their outfit).

Royal purple – or maybe deep hunter green – no, wait! The blue of indicolite (tourmaline) … or maybe pale celery like green beryl?
And you want me to choose just ONE? Sorry, no can do. My favorite color changes with the time of day, my mood, my surroundings, the weather, and probably what I had to eat for lunch! ;p
Pink. Pink has always been my favorite. Though every color tells a story, I think pink is an easy to read story for everyone. To me, pink is so much more than just a color.
Pink goes with every other color I like as well; though I’m not fond of orange at all, I’ve even seen pink and orange paired successfully.
My favorite color is purple. It looks good with my skin tone and hair, and always makes me feel good when I look at it. I love my necklace from Blend Creations – I wear it with everything! Why limit it to one outfit? ; )
Oh, and I am business casual at work so I can usually only fit in turquoise accessories with dark outfits – so it would go great with my shoes and earrings ;)
My favorite color is purple. I’m a February baby and the Amethyst is my birthstone . My grandmother gave me an antique amethyst ring and it has always been one of my favorite things in the world.
My favorite color is dark turquoise – it’s a splash of interesting color without being loud. Not mention it matches so well with so many styles and colors.
My favorite colour for clothes is black, which makes my favorite colour for jewelry anything else. I’ll wear my red sea fossil pendant for Valentine’s Day, naturally.
Purple is my favourite colour and I get compliments when I wear it. And I think I’d just buy something NEW to go with new jewelry!
Green is my favorite color since I can recall. It suits me very well and it matches with the color of my eyes. =)
light blue…..my older brother and I look like twinkies but he has red lips and rosy cheeks and perfect eyebrows…my blue eyes are my trump card when we are teasing each other!!!

I love pink! I’ve never thought of myself as a girly-girl, but I love it more and more because it’s a happy color.

Without hesitation, red. It’s bold and passionate. It can stand out on its own or it can make a statement out of any color combination. Basically, it rocks :)
Whatta cool idea. Have to say that non-colour, black, would be my go-to wearing colour. Considering it’s super versatility, and the way it so fabulously shows off any and all jewels, black just works. But then again, so does the whim of the mood of the day, and shades of blue, green, red, brown, and grey have been known to make their own appearances as well…
Turquoise because it is a naturally vibrant color. It makes me think of sunny days in the summer both at my old home in Nebraska and my new one at the beach.
I would say my fav colour is pink – a deep, bold pink because it is a fun colour and looks good on me. ;)
I love black! Does that count as a color? Maybe because I’m lazy, most of my clothes are black. It makes it easy to coordinate! I have the stainless steel and cork pendant, and it matches everything nicely!
It’s hard to pick a favorite but I think somewhere in the range between red and purple is the closest . . dark shades.
Green is my favorite, because it reminds me of Spring! I love the smell of dewy grass and new plants.
Aquamarine blue – coincidentally my birthstone but also a lovely calming color that goes well with lots. Though I do pretty much like every color in its own way!
My favourite colour changes by the day! Today, from the looks of my polyvore outfit, it’s bright red :) I love deep, rich colours and tend to stay away from pastels.

I love green – the color of Spring!!! Especially this time of year, I can’t wait to see the first flowers spring up and the trees start to bud……then I know Spring is coming…and the warmer weather!
black is my favourite colour and i like it the best one.Black shirts which i wear is also used in my clothing to make a bold statement of mystery and self control. Black clothing can say “Notice me but do not intrude.”
Black is a multi-dimensional color that can mean classic or new.
Black denotes strength and authority; it is considered to be a very formal elegant etc

my favourite color is pink because pink to me is the color of blossoming love,pink is a symbol of young,never dying love :)
MY favorite color is pink. It took a while to be able to admit this because I’m a feminist and to many it represents feminine weakness and described as “girly” as a negative connotation. But in recent years I realized that I do like pink; I look good in pink; and who cares what pink may or may not represent — it’s my fav.

Tiffany blue is my favorite color. It’s a color that always makes me feel happy and content. It does not hurt that I get a lot of compliments about how it brings out my eyes and makes me look refreshed….oh yes, the old ego likes that ;)
I would wear my new jewelry with several outfits….too many choices to pick just one ;)
