Giveaway | February’s Facebook Fan (& blog!) giveaway

Quartet family necklace

We’re pleased to announce that after all the sneak peeks on our Facebook page, our Connection necklaces are now available in the store. The Connection necklaces are our modern interpretation of a ‘family’ necklace — a ring for each family member with a colored Swarovski crystal accent to represent their birth month. (The quartet necklace on the above represents the months of May, June, September and October).

Or… you can customize a necklace based on your fashion sensibilities and the colors you love!  Just check out some examples below:

Quintet connection necklace

Septet connection necklace

Our single solo necklace also makes a sweet birthday gift — just choose the Swarovski crystal accent for the corresponding birth month and you’re done! :)

Now that you’re acquainted with our Connection necklaces, hopefully you’ll be glad to hear that we’re giving one away as this month’s Facebook/blog giveaway!

Enter to win by telling us:
Who would you give a connection necklace to, or would it be for yourself?  What would your connection necklace be (i.e. how many rings and what color accents) and what/who would it represent?

One entry per person, and we’ll be drawing for the winner at noon EST on March 1st.  Good luck!

  3. Muriel says:

I love this necklace as I am sure I have already told you! All of your concepts are gorgeous and wearable. I think the quartet is a great idea, a stone for everyone in my family feb, may, june and august!

  4. Shakira says:

I am in love with the Connections necklace and I can think of many women in my life who would love one as a gift. However, the first lovely lady I would give one to is my mom. My parents live in Winnipeg and I miss them every day and wish they lived closer. My mom visits Ottawa every few months since she misses my kids so much. I’m her only daughter and they are her only grandchildren. She’s coming here for a 1 week surprise visit on Easter Sunday. My kids don’t know Grammy is coming and I’m already very emotional about saying goodbye when she leaves. I would love to give her a Connections necklace with the stones of my twins (July)on either side of her stone (August). What a special gift that would be for her.

    O.K. gotta run….all teary-eyed typing this :)

  5. Susan says:

I absolutely love this idea. I think I would get one for my mother (2 January, 2 March, 1 November) to represent our merged family.

  6. imelda says:

I love these necklaces! I think if I won, I’d give it to my sister since I miss her so much and don’t see her very often. Maybe just wearing it will have her think of me and my family.

  7. MG says:

    Lovely!

  8. Stephanie Smith says:

Beautiful elegant necklaces! I would choose one with 3 rings, and 3 colours, each representing myself, my husband, and my son. (March, April, November). It would be a gift to myself, since I rarely splurge on myself.

  9. Laura O'Dell says:

I would love to have one for myself. I would have my husband and daughter on the necklace. I am also thinking it would make a great Mother’s Day present for my mother with all my immediate family.

  10. angrynikki says:

how nice of you to give away one of your necklaces!

  11. divrchk says:

It would be for myself with Peridot, Emerald, Aquamarine and Aurora Borealis representing me, my husband and 2 kids. Gorgeous!

  12. LisaMarie Rice says:

i love this concept and see myself easily buying one for myself to represent the birth month of each of my family members. Also see myself buying this aa gift for a very close friend

  13. mischelle says:

    its my birthday

  14. Anne says:

I would love to get one for myself, but also for my mother-in-law – who wouldn’t buy one for herself. I would love to get her one that includes all the “kids.”

  15. Jennifer J P says:

I would get it for myself only because all female family members have passed on. I am, at 49, the Matriarch of this family now lol. There aren’t any males left either in my family, other than my wonderful and exceptional sons! So it would be for me. It would have three rings for past (blue), present(green), and future(blue). The past would represent everyone that has passed on! All of their valuable knowledge, all of their love, all of the fights, and all of the hugs. Each moment and memory would be encapsulated within the first circle. The second for the present would be for who I am today and represent how thankful I am for what I have and who is still with me. The future would be for those I am yet to meet, and all I have yet to learn, and all that will change as time keeps on going. The past and future are the same color choice because the future turns into the past.
That is what I would and do see, when I gaze at your beautifully wonderful creations.
Thank you for this chance. These are my favorite of all of your jewelry. All of it is exceptional and so fashion forward. Classy enough to withstand time and not look dated in the future I think. It is wearable for all times and looks. Thank you again!

  16. Marcy says:

So my sister is an amazing women, she is a mother of 7. 4 his, 1 her and 2 ours. Her two youngest boys have Autism and she is continueally runing around bringing kids to appointment, activities and never has time for herself and I think this would be something fantasic for her to have so her children are always close by.

Birthday stones for children are 1 February, 3 april, 2 September and 1 March, if we were to included her and her husband it would be February and July

  17. Miss Vicky says:

Lovely necklaces… there are a few women in my family who would love one, but I’d likely get it for my sister, who was recently separated and could use a pretty piece of jewelry to celebrate her family. She has three boys – two born in December and 1 in August

  18. Shannon says:

    Hard choice.
If I had one for myself, it would be April, April, December (we don’t have kids but does a dog count?)
For my birth mom it would be, January (her), March (youngest half bro), April (me – oldest), August (oldest half bro)
For my adoptive mother, it would be April (me), October (her), November (dad), November (bro) – but this style of jewellery is very much not ‘her.’ But gives me something to think about for another gift!

  19. Robin says:

absolutely I want a family necklace for my three children – going back to work this time has been tough and having them “against my skin” so to speak would be awesome. They are Nov, August and Sept. I am a fan on facebook, which is how I saw the contest!

  20. Linda says:

The connection necklace would be for my daughter. I would love the 3 ring necklace. Her baby is due in March and her hubby’s birthday is in March and hers is in April, so I would want the 2 on either side to be the Aquamarine and my daughters would be the middle in the Clear, Aurora Borealis. Stunning designs! This would make the perfect after birth gift for all she is going through. I am a facebook fan.

  21. Katherine Monsonis says:

I saw the connection necklaces on Facebook and I immediately loved their simplicity.

When I submitted my colors for my children on the Facebook page, I did it in chronological order…my firstborn son, September and my daughter, August and last son, August.

When the example was posted it was September in the middle with August on each side. I couldn’t help but be struck at how the two were ‘hugging’ September. Our firstborn son sadly passed away before I went into labor 6 years ago. I loved that my two that are here with us are holding him. At least, that is how I felt right when I saw the arrangement.

I would proudly wear the Connection necklace for all of my children.

It is a simple and elegant remembrance piece with meaning to me.

    -Katherine

  22. Carolyn says:

Hello! I’d love a quartet one for MYSELF – We have two b-days in March (husband and myself, one in May and one in November.. I think it’d be nice to have March bookend the other two!

  23. Sharon H says:

    very unique!

  24. They are all so pretty. If I won, I would give it to my sister because she has done alot of work for me recently and asks for nothing in return. And I know she would LOVE it as I do!

  25. Martha S says:

I would love one for me!! With one stone for me, my husband and my two children…that would make two stones for December and two stones for February. These are really beautiful!!

  26. Jean says:

Not to sound to grabby, but for me! me! ME! *Collects herself* OK, Not sure what colors but either I’d go with all all shades of blue and green or all garnet-colored. These are so elegant…

  27. jenny says:

I would get one for myself with a birthstone for myself and each of my daughters. October for the oldest and March for the youngest and August for me.

  28. Sarah says:

I’d give it to mom and I’d make it a Mom necklace with her kid’s birthstones.
February for my Mom, then June for my oldest brother, then July for me, then April for my younger sister, and then February for my youngest brother.

  29. umang bhatia says:

i would love to have a necklace that is something different which is gorgeous having eye catching pink colored glass or the necklace which is embedded with blue & purple colored beads which can be presented as a gift to my girlfriend on her upcoming birthday next week…she loves blend collections they are always liked by her but also she is also interested something like necklaces which are hand crafted.

  30. Nicole Stanifer says:

I would like to think that I would give the necklace to someone as a gift. But I love the pendants that I got for Christmas so much that I am pretty sure that I would keep it. I would like a single with the amethyst charm since my daughter, husband, and I all have February birthdays.

  31. tara says:

I love this idea. I would have to say I would get it for myself which stones; February, November, November and December. Great work guys.

  32. Stephanie says:

I’d like to get one for my sister-in-law Julie for her birthday – she’s the only female family member I haven’t got a blend necklace for yet! I’d get her a quartet representing her family.

  33. om prakash says:

i would like to gift this necklace to my mom on her 25th anniversery,,,,,,,she will be very happy,,,
i hope to get this for my sister too….
she is also addited to it,

  34. Amy says:

I think I would have to keep this necklace for myself and although I would love to create a beautiful color combo, I feel I would succoumb to the signifigance of selecting the crystals based on the birth months of my two children, my husband and myself.

  35. Stefania says:

If I won I would keep the necklace for myself. I would choose the stone for March, 2 for August and 1 for January. Each stone would represent my birthday along with my husband’s and my kids.

  36. Jennifer says:

I love this necklace. I would totally keep it for myself since my husband is terrible at buying gifts I’ve become very good at treating myself. And this would be perfect. I can already picture it, all the boys birthdays (March, May, December and a November for me).

  37. Amber says:

I would give one to my mother. It would have a January, April, June, and August for our immediate family. She has been having a hard year after her sister’s recent suicide and has been relying on the closeness of our family even more than ever. It would be nice for her to have something meaningful to wear all the time.

  38. Anne Rich says:

I would love to have a quintet necklace in 2 Julys, 2 Oct and 1 Dec. My dogs are like my family and they were both born in July. My son (aged 4 months) and daughter (aged 2) were both born in Oct and my dear husband was born in Dec. I’m gone a lot for work and having the necklace would make me feel closer to them.

  39. Cynthia Ematrudo says:

I would love to have a quartet necklace for myself to celebrate becoming a grandmother for the first time. It would have my March birthstone, aquamarine, which is also my daughter’s stone, and my son’s,golden topaz for November, and last but not least, an alexandrite for Mia-Rose, now 8 months old, who was born on June 2nd last year.

  40. lace says:

I’d love to get a connection necklace for my mother that symbolizes our family with granddchildren included. So that would be a septet necklace with stones representing Feb, March, Sept, Jan, Sept, June, Oct. I’d love one for myself either a solo (jan) or a trio for me and my nieces (jan, jun, oct)

  41. Tara says:

Our family is complete now, so I’d love to get one for myself to represent our life. I have two sweet kids, and their birth months are April and May. Those plus two June pendants representing my husband and myself. Too bad we have two of the same month! Style wise it won’t be the most balanced, but to me our family shows total balance : )

  42. Cynthia says:

I would love to have a Connection necklace to celebrate the launch of my not for profit called Voice Found – an organization committed to helping individuals and communities heal from the effects of childhood sexual abuse. A connection to a community of survivors who can begin to thrive. It would have 3 stones. One Amethyst to signify healing and spirituality, one in Aquamarine to represent courage and one ruby to represent change and heart chakras.
With thanks and gratitude for your consideration.

  43. Jennifer S says:

I’d love to get one for my sister. She’s the one who bought me my first Blend necklace for Christmas and I’m now an addict. She and her husband just had their first child in November. She is January and both her husband and daughter are both November.

  44. Andrea Walsh says:

I would love to have the Connection necklace for my bestfriend’s upcoming birthday. She just had her third child and is a big fan of Blend Creations! I would do 5 crystals- one for her (March) and her husband (February) and one for each of her children (March, March, August).

  45. Aimee says:

I’d love to make a family necklace that represents my husband, my daughter, and myself with our 3 birthstones (April, May, and September). What a special necklace!

  46. Jackie says:

I would love to have the connection necklace for myself — because it is so hard to find a family necklace when you have 5 kids. I would love to have 7 stones – one for my husband, myself and all five kids. My family is my greatest joy – and greatest trial at times. ;) They are my life and I would love a necklace that represents all of us united. I have been looking for 3 years since our last was born that had 7 stones on it. Very hard to find. I love the style of your jewelry – updated and simple and clean – exactly my style. Not much out there like that.

  47. Lynda says:

I would love a connection necklace with just one amethyst colored crystal. My family situation has recently changed and I have gone from married to single. This experience has made me stronger and I now realize that I can be my own family. So for me, it would symbolize strength and independence.

  48. ayesha says:

    wow they’re so pretty :)

  49. Stephanie W. says:

I’d love to have one of the three stone ones to show off my family. Hubby and my birthdays are both in August, so I’d like one of the peridots in the center flanked by an aquamarine on one side for daughter #1 and a smoky topaz on the other for daughter #2!

  50. JenniferL says:

The connection necklace is gorgeous! I would have a smoky topaz to represent my son who was born in November and our second is due in June so an Alexandrite stone would be in order.

  51. Denise Royal says:

I know both sets of grandmothers would love the quartet one to represent their grandchildren. They would have a March, an April, a February and an August accents. And frankly, I’d love one myself for my little family – a trio with September, July and February.

  52. Lindsay says:

I would love one for my growing family! My husband and I are expecting our first child in July, so I think it would be a great way to symbolize our family.
We would have 3 colours, one for February, one for July and one for August.

  53. shel says:

I’d love to have the Quintet Connection Necklace for my mother since Mother’s Day is coming up. We’re a “blended” family; my mother married a man who has three children so there are now five siblings and while we’re not “blood” we all love each other very much. My mother recently told me how happy she is that we all get together at her house each holiday and how she loves the noise and commotion from all of us being together. My mother was an only child and then, for a long time, it was only my mother, my sister and I. It was always her dream to have a huge family and she says it puts her heart at ease that when she and my stepfather are gone, there will be five of us to take care of each other.

I think she’d adore the Quintet necklace with each color representing all of our birth months. The necklace is gorgeous and the sentiment behind it would be beautiful.
